Free Blues Club - NOCNA ZMIANA BLUESA - Harmonijkowy As Thursday, December 23, 2010

Polish blues at the Free Blues Club! Long party night with the most popular polish blues band: Nocna Zmiana Bluesa (free translation: Blues' Night Shift). Sławek Wierzcholski, harmonica virtuoso, vocalist, song writer founded his band over 25 years ago. Since then he has recorded 15 albums with the band and some 18 as a sideman to top polish musicians. The album 'Piątek Wieczorem' (Friday Night)recorded with Wojciech Karolak was awarded gold. The band has opened concerts of Blues Brothers (Nurnberg, Germany) and BB King's (Warsaw, '96). Charlie Musselwhite played harmonica on their album 'Chory na Bluesa' (Sick For Blues). The list is long -- please visit band's official website for more info & goodies. During the concert we had a nice surprise: an unexpected guest came in and joined the band on stage. Bartek Łęczycki, regarded as number 1 harmonica player performed a couple of songs. Years ago he was Sławek's student as the latter is an educator on a regular basis as well. To say the least: Bartek was awarded platinum for the album 'Koledzy' where he played with Maleńczuk & Waglewski. He came to visit us just after the concert promoting this album. This one was recorded on 01.03.2008 and is called 'Harmonica Ace'. :-) Enjoy! This 1999 infomercial employed presenters Bob Eubanks and Larry Huffman to tell us how we could be sealing our car instead of waxing it. This product was said to last longer, was easier to apply and was more protecting than conventional auto waxes. The standard list of showy displays of the protection of the product (sulfuric acid, soot, non-dried paint) are displayed. See part 1 for the rest. This infomercial aired after a showing of the 1999 Monaco GP in the United States. It may have been a local insert of Fox Sports Network Bay Area or may have aired nationally.
